Creature sculpt and rig of a swamp dragon.
The sculpt was made in ZBrush and afterwards retopologized in Maya. There is a high poly version and a low poly version of the model. This way the low poly version can be animated without any delays from the high poly mesh.
The rig was made in Maya. There are controls for the head and face of the dragon. The spine of the dragon has a sine deformer that can be adjusted from the main spine control and can create a slithering animation, like a snake.
The spine also has IK and FK controls that can be used at the same time. Both IK and FK controls can be combined with the sine deformer controls.
